Some more random thoughts

I must confess, I am in love with someone. At least, I believe I am. I don't totally know what love feels like, or if I really love her, but she sure does make me feel nice. I feel like writing a poem so I will...later. Probably will be on the next post I make. Oh, and I shall not reveal who, but I will say that we've known each other for years-- this wasn't love at first sight.
We had our awards ceremony for Academic Challenge today, it was fun. That old Ruby guy can talk for ages, but at least there were skits. I didn't get any awards, as expected--I barely made it, but I swear I'll stay in this thing. There were the people that already did this program, and they were living happy, successful lives. All of that hard work and determination payed off for them, and it will me too. I just know it.

I'm bored

Yeah I'm pretty bored sitting here. I don't know why I'm not watching Doctor Who right now, I have Daleks in Manhattan ready to watch, yet I'm still bored. I have like, 5 games I could play, but I'm still bored. I would play guitar, but everyone's asleep and my arms hurt, and hey my friend is on, I shall go. But before I do that, I must say I heard the most heartless evil thing on Friday in school. We were discussing the cancer society benefit I raised money for, and here lemme loosely quote.
"What's this thing for, anyway?" said the guy
"Well, we're celebrating the fact that we may have saved lives by raising money to stop cancer."
"What for? They're just going to die anyway."
They're just going to die anyway.
Yeah, but it sure feels good to know that some little kid will make it past eleven because of me. This war-loving punk, I understand that everyone doesn't like him and that he isn't evil or anything...sure. Y'know, I know he's evil, but I don't call him that. Calling people names is evil too. However, he is sometimes cruel, and insensitive, which just isn't cool. He babbles on about war, and I pretty much ignore him, I don't care about his killing machines.
Then again, there's nothing I can do about these mega far-right beliefs. I can tell he has some thoughts that border Nazism. I pretty much hate the right side-- it only exists because of conforming. I'll bet that most people are only republicans because their parents are, and their thoughts were molded to be like that. Really, look at George Bush. Only when people are allowed to think free is when they develop left-side thoughts.
For example, in class the other day, I made a reference to George Bush's poor presidential administration, and quite a few people gave me the evil eye. They said "It's congress'/the house's fault too," to which I replied with "Not since they were taken by the Democrats." Boy did I get a reaction from that! They all claim "Republican all the way." Then, a friend of mine said that "Yeah, the democratic congress is better."
Let's freeze for a second: There were five people that I remember here. One of them was me, who is pretty peaceful and kind, as I've been told. I think I'm a great person, honestly. Then, there's this one guy: he does nothing but insult people and be a homophobe. Then there's another guy: I know little about him, but I'll bet he's a lot like the first one. One of the involved girlsis pretty cool, but she was another person who hates democrats, and I know she talks bad about me when I'm not around: it's obvious because of her disgust with fat people. Now with those three last people, it's obvious they got this from their parents: you have to be taught these sort of things. Now as for one person, she's great, and she's really smart and open minded. She stands up for her beliefs, as well as others, so incidentally, she turns out as a democrat. Then again, her mom is great, much like mine. So yeah, I think parents have a lot to do with this.
Love is also very confusing. I think I'm in love, but then again so did my friend, and he'sgoing through a lot of pain right now. It seems that love is a gift and a curse. Of course, when I get older and more mature, I'll take that risk. I know now that it's quite a great feeling, especially when you fall for a great person.

Meh

Yeah I can't think of a title for this. However, I must say that at the moment something confuses me. Why in the world would anyone program their computer with a "screen invert" function? That has no practical use whatsoever, except for maybe if you wanted to hang your monitor upside down, with is pretty silly. We have Relay for Life this weekend, and it'll be fun--if I can stay a little while, as I forgot to get my permission slip signed.

I feel like everyone in my gym class hates me, or doesn't care about me. Of course there are a few exceptions but man does it seem 90% of the dudes there hate me. Of course I stand up to them, however. I mean, standing up is what lots of things were meant to do. What would a building be if it didn't stand? It'd be a big metal slug that eats people. It's pretty funny on how they insist on insulting me, it's one of three things...
  • They call me "gay" which I know I'm not so whatever, I don't care
  • They call me fat, like I don't know. "Hey how'd all of this fat get here?" Really, it's nothing new.
  • They push and shove on me, but I push right back, so whatever.
So this proves that I'm invincible to them :D.

The band concert is in a week, and I know we'll pull through--we always do. Jazz band is on that day too, but we'll pull through-- I know it.

So I've started getting torrents of the new Doctor Who season, and it's turning out really well. Martha's great--almost better than Rose from the last two seasons. Also, my tom Baker torrent has about 1 and 1/2 weeks left. And that is the end, so bye, all -3 of my readers.

Whee

Today, May, 14. 2007, SolidShroom, or Frank Stewart III for those of you not in the know, has a blog. I already have a googlepages page (two, actually-- http://www.solidsbox.googlepages.com , (For Metal Gear Solid obsession) and http://solidshroom.googlepages.com (for general stuff)). This blog shall be updated whenever I get the chance, and I'll pstt just about anything I feel like discussing on here, be it music, games, politics, random crap, or just regular crap. So yeah, be sure to check here fairly often.

Anyway, to get to some normal content, I must say that I am beyond thrilled that school is on its way to an end. Really, I'm pretty much burnt out of everything school-wise. I just can't wait till we do the Science/Social Studies DSTP tests, so anything really hard will be over, considering my (wrongfully titled-- it felt like ULTRA MEGA HELICOPTER-EATING HARD Algebra) intermediate algebra and Writing skills classes are both over, and I passed them both. Now I have just my Science class--it's running smoothly--and my history class, which is pretty easy; it's non-honors and we have a mega generous teacher who curves our grades a lot. As for video games, things are pretty dull. I have Super Paper Mario and Pokémon Pearl to beat, but I haven't played them lately. I've been playing a lot of guitar lately though. At least 2 hours a day. Seriously.

Anyway, Neil Young is a genius. I've been listening to him a lot lately (In fact, I'm now listening to "Cinnamon Girl") and I've realized that he is a true American (Even though he's from Canada, heh). His outlook is great, and his songs are always true, never phony. It's especially great how he's got a song called "Let's impeach the President." It's so true, really, it is! Of course, protesters protest the crap out of this protest song. It's usually claims of things like "that Canadian guy should go back to Canada if you don't like it here," because, Lord knows, not liking Bush means not liking America and Loving terrorism.
